Yoga before a workout? Why? Well; Yoga is all about mobility, and in most workouts, wether its strenght, endurance, choreography or other kinds of training, mobility is key. Today we had a B2B “back to basic” training, and decided to do a 30 minute soft warm up with some essencial yoga movements to prepare the body for lifting with the right technique.
Often; technique fails due to lack of mobility, so dont underestimate the power of a yoga session. It can help you perform better on your strength training sessions, and avoid injuries. You can keep the yoga workout nice and short; a 15 minute dynamic warm up to just lenghten the muscles a bit. More about which yoga poses you can choose later on. Gotta run, there are waves incoming 😀
