Chia with blueberries, almond & coconut

Posted by in Breakfast, Snacks

Inspired by non other than Mr. Kelly Slater, 11 time world surf champion, this breakfast is fit for any athelete. With this nutribomb you will get the Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids you need. Furthermore chia is an amazing source of calcium (6 times more than milk), potassium and magnesum. All this is essential for an athlete. Without it your muscles just wont do their job right.

I have to admit I though this mind of breakfast was for alternatve new age hippie vegans only 😀 First of all it seemd to complicated already when you had to mix ingredients and then WAIT for it to become what its supposed to be; waaaaaiiit for it…. PUDDING!!!! YUK! Who eats pudding at a grown age, seriously? Well, Now I am one of those I guess. Because after realising that this literally just takes 5 minutes, I have become a huge fan.

  • 1 dl chia seeds
  • 2 dl almond milk
  • 1 dl of chopped up raw almonds
  • 1 dl of blueberries
  • 1/2 dl of coconut flakes

Add half of the almonds, blueberries and coconut in a cup and sprinkle the chia on top. Then pour in the milk and stir a little with a spoon just to make sure the milk is mixing well with everything. Leave in the refridgerator for a couple of hours. Sprinkle with the rest of the coco, almond and blueberries 😀 Voliá!
